The Hangout Music Festival is accessible to all guests with disabilities. It is our goal to continually improve access to all guests with disabilities, and we thank you for your support and participation.

Wheelchair Accessibility:

The venue is fully navigable for people with mobility disabilities. Please note that the Chevrolet and Hangout stages are on beach sand and the stages are best viewed from the accessible viewing platforms. We recommend using Beach Blvd to navigate around the site when possible.

Access Center:

All questions, which involve patrons with disabilities, can be answered at our Access Center at the Information booth near the North Entrance of the festival.  Please stop by to get wristbands to access the viewing platforms on the Chevrolet and Hangout Stage, register your service animal, or inquire about other assistance. Or just stop by and say, “Hi!” to our friendly Access Team.

ATMs and Concessions are fully accessible and located throughout the venue.  If assistance is required, please confer with a festival staff member.

Service Animals:

Hangout Music Festival has a strict no-pet rule, with exceptions only for service animals as specified by Federal and Alabama laws. Due to large-scale service animal fraud and for the safety of our patrons, staff, and other service animals; all animals that do not meet legal standards will not be allowed into the festival grounds.  If you are planning on bringing a service animal to the event or have any questions about our policy, please contact us in advance at Upon arriving at the event, you will be directed to the Access Center for verification and to get an identification marker for your service animal.

A separate ADA lot will be available for patrons with a valid handicap parking permit and the appropriate paperwork with matching government identification. What is not cool? Trying to fake it. Parking is very limited and the spaces will fill up early each day.  The ADA parking lot is at the Surf Style on the corner of Highway 59 and Beach Boulevard at the North Entrance to the festival. Please follow signage or ask traffic security how to access this lot.

First Aid:

We have several First Aid locations that are noted on the festival maps.  Professional medical staff can help you with your medical needs at these locations.

Viewing Platforms:

On the Chevrolet and Hangout stages, viewing platforms will be made available to disabled patrons who may need to see over the standing crowd.  For entrance to the platform please visit the access center.

Any further questions or comments: In continually trying to make our festival more accessible, we encourage you to contact to us via for any of your ADA needs or questions.
