Here are some things you might want to pack:
Looking for the ultimate festival bucket list experience? The Big Kahuna ticket is for you. As a Big Kahuna you get all the perks of being a Super VIP (including access to a private air-conditioned dining room serving meals prepared by celebrity chefs). Plus you can watch beach stage performances from the stage and you get access to the legendary Hangout Artist Lounge. Oh yeah, you also get a 24/7 Personal Concierge. There are very few Big Kahuna tickets available and they sell out quickly. For Big Kahuna tickets please call (888) 786-0270.
Children aged 10 and under are admitted FREE if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Due to safety concerns, we cannot admit more than 2 children per supervising adult. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The following items are prohibited:
We ask you keep the following items at home, for your safety and the safety of everyone here at Hangout!
Heatstroke is not cool. Drink lots of water. Free water fountains and filling stations will be located throughout the Festival park. Bring & wear sunscreen. Cool off (and freshen up) at the misting areas on site. Each fan is allowed to bring one (1) empty water container (up to 2 litres in size).
We encourage attendees not to bring backpacks. If you are bringing a pack, please make sure it is small (no larger than 20 x 15 x 13). All bags will be thoroughly checked. There will be an express entrance line for fans who come without backpacks. We apologize for any delays or inconvenience but your safety is our primary concern.
Yes! The Hangout offers personal lockers so you can free up your hands without worrying about losing anything in the sand. Learn more and reserve your locker for the weekend here.
Reasonably priced food (including vegetarian/vegan options) and drinks will be available on-site. More information about the food vendors and options will be released prior to the Festival.
Wristbands cannot be removed and must be worn all three days for entry into the Festival.
Please don’t remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will be denied entry (and that will make us sad).
Wristbands are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be replaced.
Single day tickets for the 2015 Hangout Festival will not be available. We sold a limited amount of single day tickets in 2013 as a result of a sponsor promotion. Due to the increasing demand of weekend passes, we will not be repeating the single day ticket promotion this year.
Instead of having a Black Friday sale this year, the Hangout Festival held a one-day loyalty 2015 sale for 2014 ticket holders. Those tickets quickly sold out. As a result, we will not be having our Black Friday sale.
Refunds are not allowed after a ticket is purchased.
Each year hundreds of our amazing fans get tricked into buying a wristband or print at home ticket from Craigslist, eBay, or a ticket broker site. Unfortunately, many of these are already used or are counterfeits. Only tickets purchased from EventBrite are considered valid purchases. Your attempt to save cash will probably cost you more money, a lot of trouble and ultimately will keep you from attending the festival.
And remember, some sneaky people might even try to sell their wristbands to you. However, removal or tampering of a wristband automatically voids it. We check every wristband to make sure it has not been tampered with or removed. You will be caught and you will be escorted directly from the festival.
There will be a number of ATMs located at the Festival. Their locations will be marked on the Festival Map.
We make every effort to create a safe environment at the festival. To ensure this, we have security and medical staff working throughout the Festival. If you're experiencing any problems whatsoever, locate a Festival staff member, security guard, or police officer.
If you need medical assistance, seek out the medical tent, or look for a police officer or Festival staff member. Please refer to the Festival Map for the exact location of the Medical tents.
Due to safety concerns we have an enforced 500 ft NO-BOATING ZONE off the Hangout site. However there are miles of beautiful open waters around the site for your boating pleasure.
We hope you don't lose anything at this year's Festival, but if you do, stop by the Hangout Info Booth. Not coming back to The Hangout? You can email firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire about your lost item. Be sure to include the type, brand, color and any additional info you can provide to identify the item.
You can contact us using the following link: Contact Us.
We receive a large number of e-mails each day, please be patient and we will respond to your e-mail as soon as possible, in the order it is received.
